THE SHADE is a face accessory for those who have something to hide.

Inspired by swimming goggles and nose pinchers, THE SHADE is studio am_r’s take on classic sun shades.

Made from 3D-printed PETG and 1 mm acrylic (PMMA), THE SHADE is ultra-lightweight and fall resistant, whether you’re taking them to the club or on a hike. A cactus leather strap with a custom am_r buckle allows for an adjustable fit, or lets you wear THE SHADE around your neck as an accessory.

Please note: THE SHADE does not fold. When not worn on the face, it is designed to be worn around the neck. The polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) offers moderate UV blocking.

Each piece is handmade in Berlin and produced to order. Production time can take up to 10 working days after order. You will receive an email as soon as the item is ready to be shipped. Orders shipped outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and import taxes upon delivery, payable by the customer.
